Walla Womba Guest House is located on Bruny Island, south of Hobart, Tasmania. The site is remote and off the grid. The architecture endeavours to capture the unique qualities of place which inspired its owners to travel from New York State to build there. A sense of quietness, belonging and connection to its coastal bushland environment have influenced this autonomous house.
